• Vice-Chair, London & Middlesex County Separate School Board, 1997
- helped prepare for amalgamation of 3 coterminous boards
• *Inaugural Chair of amalgamated London District Catholic Board,

• Chair, Early Literacy Initiatives Task Force (LDCSB), 2001
- extra classroom resources were directed to where they were needed
most
• Chair, Audit Committee, LDCSB, 2014 to 2018
• Vice-Chair, LDCSB 2014-2016
• Chair, LDCSB, 2017 to 2020
- during past term of the Board (2014 to 2018) - LDCSB went from a
deficit of almost $13 million dollars (2014) to a modest surplus
(2018)
- LDCSB continues to operate with a balanced budget
- served as Chair during last contract negotiations with all
educational employee groups (2018)
- served as Chair during initial response to onset of Covid 19
pandemic (2019-2020)
Leadership in Community:
• Chair, St. Martin’s Parish Advisory, 2004-2005
- Holy Rosary parish and St. Martin’s were merged into one
• Chair, Finance Committee, St. Martin of Tours parish, 2008-2013
- relentlessly working towards renewal and successful financial
situation
• Committee member of St. Francis and St. Martin’s Unification
Committee, 2012-2013
- resulted in formation of new parish: St. Francis - St Martin
Parish (Hispanic/English) at St. Martin of Tours Church
- appointed by Bishop Fabro to serve on initial Parish Advisory
Council for new parish, 2013 to 2020
- is now part of the new London South Catholic Family of Parishes
(St Francis-St Martin, St Justin's and St Leopold Mandic)
